Testimonials

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Steve Epps from SE Building Solutions. Choosing a builder is one of the most important decisions a homeowner can make, and Steve proved to be the right choice from the very beginning. Our brilliant designer, Michael Ross from MR Designs, had worked closely with Steve before and highly recommended him for our build. Before we even selected him, Steve spent countless hours reviewing plans, discussing options, and carefully costing the project, which immediately showed his professionalism and commitment.

Renovating a pre-1900s home came with plenty of unforeseen issues, but Steve handled every challenge calmly and professionally. He always offered practical solutions and advice on how best to approach and manage each situation, keeping us closely consulted every step of the way. Steve truly listened to our requests, was incredibly patient throughout the process, and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. His eye for detail and thoughtful suggestions during the build helped enhance the final result beyond what we had imagined.

We are so grateful for Steve’s dedication, expertise, and care, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a builder they can genuinely trust.

Exceptional experience from beginning to end! From our first meeting, Steve was engaged and approachable and this set the tone for a pain free building experience. Every issue had a solution and no question or request was too difficult. Steve has great communication skills and a talented team working for him who have a keen eye for detail and treat your home like their own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SE Building Solutions and will be using them again in the future!

This was the first time we had tackled a large renovation project and we fully expected it to be a stressful and time consuming undertaking - but Steve and his team made the process so easy, and really took the mental load for the whole project. There were always going to be surprises when renovating a 100 year old Queenslander, but we were never told about any of these challenges without Steve first having a number of proposed solutions for us, always with our timeline and budget in mind. We always knew what was going on and Steve was always available to discuss the project with us. We are so grateful to his whole team for making the process so smooth and enjoyable, and their attention to detail and workmanship that delivered us our dream home.

Our designer put us in touch with Steve and we couldn't be happier with the finished result. It's been a fantastic experience across the board. The high-end quality of the finishes really ties in with the iconic Queenslander that we've got here, but particularly we love our living-dining area and our bathrooms turned out great as well. If you're looking for a builder to help with renovations, we'd recommend Steve from SE Building Solutions. We absolutely love our home and couldn't have asked for a better builder for our first renovation.

We looked at reviews and came across Steve from SE Building Solutions and ever since then, from start to finish, we couldn't be happier with the result, the quality of the work, and it was an enjoyable process...We're absolutely thrilled with the end product. The kitchen is just amazing. If anybody's looking to renovate a property, we highly recommend Steve and the team from SE Building Solutions and if I was to do another renovation tomorrow, I wouldn't use anybody else.
